The rigid arm assisted manipulator, also known as the pneumatic balance assisted manipulator, is a pneumatic assisted human powered manipulator with manual operation. The use of the assisted manipulator reduces the operator's labour intensity, enables light handling and precise positioning of heavy workpieces and ensures the safety of the equipment and the operator.
The rigid arm assisted manipulator is divided into two types: vertical and suspended. The main structure is divided into three main rotating joints, which can rotate 360° and 300° around their own axes respectively. Each joint is equipped with a braking device, which can be braked at any position according to actual needs. When working, the operator pulls the manipulator to the working position, presses the handle and wakes up the workpiece using the positioning device on the fixture as the positioning reference. The load pressure is switched to high pressure, the workpiece is lifted and turned over as required. When the workpiece is assembled, switch the load pressure to low pressure. The manipulator can be balanced in any position in the high and low pressure state. In general, the manipulator does not slide and rotate automatically, so when operating the manipulator with or without a load, the brake switch can be pressed to stop the manipulator immediately in the human space.
The wide application of hard-armed power-assisted robotic loads in industry has greatly reduced the labour intensity of manual labour, liberated workers from heavy physical labour, greatly improved labour production and industrial automation, saved personnel costs, brought significant economic benefits to enterprises, and effectively enhanced the ability of enterprises to adapt to the market and the market competitiveness of their products.
