Hard-arm manipulators, also known as balancers, balancing rings, pneumatic boosters, etc., are widely used in various fields of modern industry because of their labor-saving features, such as: loading and handling of large materials, precise positioning and assembly of large equipment, etc. In short, in modern production, whether it is the acceptance of raw materials, or the processing of semi-finished products, production, distribution, hard-arm manipulators are playing an irreplaceable role. The basic principle of hard-arm manipulator is to use load detection and air pressure feedback to automatically balance the lifted workpiece, so that the workpiece "floats" in the air, in a certain space, the operator only needs to apply a small push or pull force on the workpiece, you can break the air pressure balance, so that you can easily and efficiently move the workpiece freely.
Rigid arm type assisted manipulator mainly includes the following four parts:
1.Air circuit control system
(1) Component protection box is provided to protect the main precision pneumatic components from accidental impact and dust deposition during operation, and the gas distribution is clear and easy to maintain.
(2) The system is equipped with two connectors, check valve and gas storage tank to provide continuous and stable compressed air for the system, which can provide a certain safety period when the main gas source is cut off unexpectedly, so that the system has enough power to complete this operation or unload the workpiece.
2. Fixture system
The control of the main machine is integrated with the fixture (robot), which is convenient for the operator to control the workpiece with both hands. The operation buttons of the main machine are integrated on the control panel of the fixture, and the control part, indicator and light are arranged according to ergonomic principle, which is convenient for operation and emergency handling.
3. Host system
(1)It can realize the gravity balance state of different weight materials, which is applicable to the precise loading and unloading operation of materials.
(2) Different workpieces in loading and unloading processing, the system can sense the weight change and realize the floating state of the load in three-dimensional space, which is convenient for precise positioning and sharp vision mechanical hard arm type assisted manipulator.
(3)The system can always maintain the level of the robot head, giving full play to high operability.
(4)The whole process is balanced smoothly, which is easy for the operator to carry, position and assemble the workpiece.
(5)The rigid arm can make the manipulator carry the workpiece over the obstacle; the horizontal arm can meet the requirements of lateral loading and unloading of materials in relevant places.
(6) Joint braking device, with multiple rotating joints, to achieve a large area to pick and place materials; equipped with a braking device, the operator can interrupt the movement of the manipulator at any time during the operation.
4. Track walking system
It can adopt double-row C type or KBK type aluminum alloy track with mobile platform trolley, and the lower flange of platform trolley is connected with hard arm manipulator, so that the whole equipment can walk smoothly in the track stroke, and the non-metal roller is made of high-strength wear-resistant nylon material with long service life.
